Saaka's Refrence

This is Saaka's reference for my new group that I've created. I will bring in a couple more lions besides this one because he was an original character and I created him from scratch. The only thing missing from this one is his mauti mark since I made him a rogue lion in this roleplay. To see his full version, you can find it here:

Saaka was born in a rogue pride that seemed to weed out the weak lions that were bred into it. Cubs were put to the test at a young age in order to do battle with each other and see who'd win the fight, those who were weak the cubs were exiled and sent out side into the savannah where they were forced to live on their own. Saaka was one of those lucky lions who managed to make his way up the chain in fighting, soon he gained many scars by the time he was an adult and wears them with pride. Because of this he was a well respected warrior for at least two years. However one day would later change Saaka's fate in the pride. A group of rebellious lions, came through that decided to attack the lands that he lived on. They set the area ablaze with a fire that they had come forward and caused much destruction. The lions that could fled the areas but Saaka's family suffered from the losses, being consumed in the fire as they tried to let him escape.

When it was all over, Saaka found himself alone, wandering the savannah with an unknown idea on the world. The world was different, he had changed as he was still mourning the death of his family. It seems like Saaka will remain a loner for the rest of his days, seeing that no one would want a killer to be in their pride. Saaka however has a soft side and isn't always a killer. He wants love, a family and some friends just like every other lion. He really uses the skills of fighting when it is of dire need at this point.

Though to bring a twist of fate on things, Saaka has no idea that some of his family managed to survive the fire. His father is out there somewhere. His pride is scattered across the savannah, and maybe one day they'll find each other. It's just hard to say at this point as he is finding himself forever alone.

Note: Saaka gained his scars when he was almost adult. That is why they're not in his cub image!

And with the lineart I did it from 's work with her linearts and credits. I believe that's all the credit that I made sure of.
